Hi there,

I’m Lockard Simpkins, a Denver-based painter, illustrator, and designer who has always found beauty in the world around us — from the quiet details of nature to the people and moments that make life meaningful. With a BFA in Graphic Design, I returned to painting with a renewed sense of purpose; creating work rooted in realism, emotion, and the belief that to be creative is, at its heart, to be inspirational. Through each piece, I hope to capture something that makes you pause, feel, and see the world a little differently.
